Infinite Campus LMS Tips Part 2: Attaching a File to an Assignment

This video overview demonstrates how to attach a file to an assignment.  This can be useful in terms of sharing an assignment description or supporting resources, attaching a template that students will use, or attaching grading criteria.  Further, since Campus does not currently offer the ability to post lesson plans and other informational resources for a class, this method allows you to create zero value assignments to share resources such as lesson plans, syllabi, reading lists, and so forth.

FYI – this video actually uses a previous version of Campus to show how to attach a file to an assignment. Those screens and fields are no longer available. I did some looking for a replacement video, but realized any video showing Assignments will be out of date as of Sunday night when we receive the new release. That’s when the 3 text boxes where you could previously add description, objective and such are now combined into one box – Portal Description. Maybe I can make a video once we receive the release.
