The ADM Schools are in the midst of a three-month demo of the Safari Montage video streaming service, which allows students and teachers to access, view, and contribute to a large collection of online media. The service is hosted on a server on campus, so streaming Safari Montage videos does not utilize the district’s internet bandwidth, and teachers can upload and share content and playlists with their students or throughout the district. The video below introduces Safari Montage, and walks users through the process of signing in and using the service.
Once we’ve finished our evaluation at the end of April, we’ll evaluate whether this service is worth purchasing, and if so, what components should be purchased. Stay tuned for future information about Safari Montage!
