Junk Mail

Recently, we’ve seen a significant uptick (as have most e-mail providers) in the amount of junk mail that gets sent to our e-mail system every day.  As a result, our spam filter – while filtering out most spam messages – has also been catching quite a few legitimate e-mails.

If you know of an e-mail that didn’t get to your school e-mail address, please include the sender’s address in a ticket in ADM Support and the tech staff will add the address to an “Allowed” list.

Did you know?  While the significant majority of emails that reach most inboxes in the district are legitimate, about 85% of all e-mails that reach our network are junk mail, and must be filtered out by our spam filter.  Surprisingly, 85% is actually lower than the worldwide average ratio for junk mail.
